Voices voice over rates show the average cost you will pay for various types of voice acting.
The rates are based on real data from successfully completed jobs. This will provide a guideline of how to set your budget.
Talent will also provide you with what they see as a fair rate for their job.

The Voices rate guide is established based on real data we see on our site. Each number provided is the average cost of similar jobs successfully completed on our platform. How you price your job will depend on what you’re looking for. If you price higher, you will get more experienced voice actors who are willing to do more; a lower price point will give you more novice voice actors.
We strongly encourage you to find a more accurate price point by completing the job form. Based on the information you provide you will be prompted with a recommended budget range before posting.
License renewals occur when broadcast work is being used beyond the originally agreed upon timeframe. This can be easily managed in Voices' License Management Center. This center allows you to easily manage, renew or extend your license all in one place.
To renew or extend a license, find the job in the License Management Center and select "Get Renewal Quote". You will prompted to complete a short form that details the new usage. This will be messaged to the talent and they will reply with a quote on the renewal.
To learn more about licensing and how licenses work, read our FAQ Understanding Licensing.
Voices allows any price between $5 - $10,000 for non-broadcast and $100 - $10,000 for broadcast.
Other factors such as, the length of your script and the experience of the voice actor, can also impact the cost. To learn more about Voices pricing, visit our helpful pricing page.
A multitude of factors go into determining the price of a voice over job. Major contributing factors include:
- Length/word count: the longer the script is, the more it will cost
- Usage: how the voice over is being used will significantly impact the cost
- Experience: experienced voice actors tend to price higher than newer voice actors
- Revisions: how many times you need your work revised will contribute to the cost
Just like any other industry, the cost of voice acting is driven by external factors such as inflation, economic strength and demand.
