We know how important deadlines are and will always work to complete your jobs within even the tightest time frames.
From posting a job to getting your final files, it takes an average of 24 hours. That means your entire project can be completed in under a day. If you need complete timeline transparency, check out the Project Marketplace for even faster turnaround times.
With the exception of potentially dangerous file types (ie: .exe) Voices allows for any file type. Audio files are typically uploaded as MP3, WAV, AIFF.
If you require a specific file type, you can talk to your talent through our messaging system to see if they are able to accommodate.

Yes! Revisions are sometimes required to make sure your project sounds exactly the way you pictured it.
How many revisions you will need should be set out in the job agreement stage of posting a job. If you require extra revisions beyond the initial request, the talent may ask for additional payment.
If you’re purchasing a project, you can purchase extra revisions for a cost. Please keep in mind that revisions involve reading the script in a different way. File splitting and audio editing are more time consuming and often involve a different policy. To learn the difference between each, read our glossary.
Voices is free to use! Create an account, post a job and browse the Project Marketplace all for free.
The Voices Basic plan allows you to post a job, browse the Project Marketplace, receive responses, hire voice actors, and download finished files. It gives you everything you need to find the right voice actor for your project.
If you're looking for additional features, Voices does offer subscriptions for a cost - Voices Plus and Voices Enterprise.
Voices Plus is our most popular subscription-based offering that gives you more productivity tools and additional purchasing methods. With Voices Plus, you will be able to feature your job postings for faster responses.
Voices has an Enterprise offering for organizations that are seeking hands-on management, enhanced security and priority support. More information on Voices plans can be found here: https://www.voices.com/plans.
When you purchase with Voices, you are paying for services upfront. By registering on Voices, you agree to our Terms of Service, stating that memberships, subscriptions, and services provided are non-refundable.
Please note that by default, all talent memberships and client subscriptions renew automatically. If you wish to cancel your membership, please submit a cancellation request located on your profile under Account Settings/Membership/Cancel Membership. Please submit your request at least five (5) business days before your renewal date to ensure we can stop your payment before your renewal date.
The Platform Fee (for talent) and Processing Fee (for clients) are non-refundable, and the talent fee is subject to the agreement between client and talent.
Should a dispute occur over payment between client and talent that you cannot reconcile independently, a member of our Support Team will arbitrate and investigate the details and attempt to provide a solution. However, as outlined in our Terms of Service, Voices is not responsible or liable for disputes between client and talent. The full resolution of disputes is the responsibility of the client and talent alone.
At Voices we pride ourselves on the quality of our talent. Many of our clients recognize this and want to hire the same talent again and again. There are four easy ways to rehire talent:
- from the My Previously Hired Talent widget in My Home;
- from the Me dropdown;
- from Past Jobs, and;
- directly from the Talent profile.
Previously Hired Talent
When logged in you will be able to see your My Home screen. By scrolling down slightly, you'll find the "Recently Hired Voice Actors" widget. This shows your five most recently hired talent, or you can select see all to view all previously hired talent. You can easily click "Invite to Job" to rehire them.
Talent who you have worked with via the Project Marketplace will also appear here.
By hovering over your avatar in the top navigation bar, you'll be given a list of options to navigate around Voices. The 'Previously Hired Talent' option will take you to a new page listing all of the talent you've worked with previously.
If you know the job a talent worked on, you can go to that job and scroll to the "Hired Talent" section.
Alternatively, by going to the “Responses” tab, you’ll see the talent you hired at the top of the list with the option to rehire them via the “Rehire” button.
If you know the name of the particular voice actor you want to work with again, you can go directly to their profile page and review the “You’ve Worked Together Previously” widget. From there you can click into the job to review additional information if needed before rehiring.
